I spent a good portion of the beginning of 2010 acquiring what I felt were great .US domains.  I also picked up some nice .Com’s, .Org and .Net domains as well.  But the fastest ROI without development that I had this year were surprisingly from a couple of .US domains.

I have a similar passion to a client and good friend… We both have taken a liking to the .US ccTLD.  So it was only natural when another friend wanted to sell large portions of their .US portfolio we decided to partner on picking them up rather than battle.

I believe it was early March when we closed our last group buy on these .US domains.   Shortly there after another friend Chef Patrick let me know about an upcoming .US auction we decided to submit some domains and sold 3 .US domains.

In the “olden days”, domainers had two main solutions for cash flow – either park their domains or develop them into a minisite or fully developed website.  Both have their drawbacks either with time or money.
