As we all have heard by now…  However a recent update is that Tim Cook will be his replacement.

It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds.

Investing in domains and selling domains 2010.

I spent a good portion of the beginning of 2010 acquiring what I felt were great .US domains.  I also picked up some nice .Com’s, .Org and .Net domains as well.  But the fastest ROI without development that I had this year were surprisingly from a couple of .US domains.

I have a similar passion to a client and good friend… We both have taken a liking to the .US ccTLD.  So it was only natural when another friend wanted to sell large portions of their .US portfolio we decided to partner on picking them up rather than battle.

I believe it was early March when we closed our last group buy on these .US domains.   Shortly there after another friend Chef Patrick let me know about an upcoming .US auction we decided to submit some domains and sold 3 .US domains.

The stats for those sales are below:

I still feel that the buyers of these domains got an excellent deal!  Especially the new owner of Therapists.us I always think back to Sean Connery Celebrity Jeopardy:
